HARRY Sutton was carried off with a knee injury in Gosford All Blacks’ 40-29 Premier Division loss at Drifters.
Drifters led with a try from Gary Mc-Gilliott, converted by Mark Bannister, but Gosford No 8 Chris Bennett kicked a penalty and converted a try from full back Murray Stewart.
Bannister levelled with a penalty before Gosford wing Ben Bodinham jinked over, Bennett converting.
Drifters’ Matt Brown landed a penalty before fly half Sutton’s injury, then converted Al Morgan’s try.
Tries from McGilliott, David Corrigan and Alex Weekes made it 35-22.
Gosford wing George Humphreys crossed before Weekes ran in a second try, but lock James Stepney was driven over, Bennett converting.
