Aaron Woodley and Oxford United will find out on Sunday if they have landed any honours at the Football League Awards 2011.
There will be 17 awards presented at The Brewery, London on Sunday night and United are one of just a few nominated twice.
They have been shortlisted for the Football League Family Club of the Year accolade, and Woodley has been shortlisted for the Football Manager Apprentice of the Year award.
Woodley’s recognition surprised some, as he hasn’t broken into the first team.
But United’s Youth Development Officer, Les Taylor, said: “It recognises his all-round achievement and education.
“The fact that he has trained with the first team, and been on the bench, that he’s a prolific goalscorer for the youth team, and is always involved with the reserves. He’s done well.”
Woodley is into double figures for goals for the youths this season.
Assistant manager Mickey Lewis will represent the playing side of the club at the awards night.
Players shortlisted for the League Two award are Gareth Ainsworth, of Wycombe, Adam Le Fondre of Rotherham, and Bury’s Ryan Lowe.
The Football League Awards is an annual gala evening to celebrate on and off-pitch excellence across the League’s 72 clubs.
