North Leigh boss Mark Gee has urged his players to go out and do it again when they travel to fourth-placed Frome in Division 1 South & West on Saturday.
On Tuesday they ended Sholing’s 100 per cent home record with a 2-1 win, with new signing Nick Thorne, and Matt Taylor scoring.
Gee welcomes back Kieran Sanders from a ban, though Tom Frankin (ankle) and Ben Reardon (away) miss out.
Andy McCabe (ankle) and Andy Caton (hamstring) face late tests.
“We had seven regulars out on Tuesday,” said Gee. “But the lads who came were tremendous.
“It was a really good performance from us and if we can do it at Sholing, there is no reason why we can’t do the same at Frome, but it will be tough.”
Abingdon United manager Richie Bourne wants his side to push on after the win against Bishops Cleeve ahead of the journey to eighth-placed Gosport Borough.
Bourne said: “I was delighted for the boys against Bishops Cleeve (Abingdon won 2-1 last weekend).
“It wasn’t pretty at times, but it was always about the result.
“Hopefully, it will give us some confidence going into Saturday’s game.”
