OXFORD Rugby were knocked out of the National Colts Plate in the last 16 after a 37-20 defeat at Barking.
The visitors showed plenty of skill, but lacked the commitment required to earn victory.
Despite having the better of the opening 20 minutes, Oxford found themselves 12-0 down thanks to tries that stemmed from errors by fly half Joey Todd and full back Dom Coe.
Oxford hit back with a solo try from Harry Burn, converted by Coe, with Todd adding a drop goal, but a third Barking try made it 17-10 at half-time.
Burn completed a try brace in the second half, Coe converting and adding a penalty, but Barking were worthy winners.
