Oxford started with just 11 players as they lost 71-7 at Tadley.
Injuries and unavailability meant they kicked off four players down, but they did at least get two more after ten minutes.
Tadley had scored four tries by this stage and were never in danger of losing.
Oxford’s off-loading game caused Tadley some problems, but they lacked enough players to finish chances!
They did at least manage a well-worked try for Dom Coe in the second half, Coe converting.
Full back Chris Clare bagged a try treble in Grove’s 28-17 home victory over Windsor.
Clare finished a fine backs move for his first, then was set up for his second by centre Tom Clipsham.
Windsor hit back with two tries and a conversion, but Roger Sevier‘s penalty made it 13-12 at the break.
Grove wasted more chances before wing Harry Carr touched down and Sevier converted.
Clare bagged his third and Windsor notched their second before Sevier’s penalty completed the scoring.
Chipping Norton earned a losing bonus point with a 29-22 defeat at home to promotion-chasing Wootton Bassett.
