Jack Midson headed in an equaliser to enable Oxford United to go in at half-time all square at 1-1 in their League two game at Port Vale today.
He nodded in from a yard out on 33 minutes after keeper Chris Martin could only juggle Alfie Potter's 25-yard shot against his own crossbar.
Marc Richards had fired Vale in front four minutes earlier, following up after Ryan Clarke had saved his penalty.
The spot kick was awarded for a push in the back by Ben Purkiss on Tom Pope.
