The Greyhound Racing Association have increased security at all their tracks.
In future, no-one other than licensed personnel will be allowed in the paddock at Oxford Stadium without showing their identity.
The plan is for trainers, kennel hands and other licensed staff to wear armbands.
Racing manager Gary Baiden said tracks no longer came under the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), but under the British Greyhound Racing Board.
ITALIAN-BORN Oxford trainer Tony Magnasco will have the Italian flag displayed on the winner’s race jacket for the final of the Fairview Kennels Trafalgar Cup, which he sponsors later this month.
He was top trainer last week with six winners, including the fastest over four bends with Terrydrum Val 27.15.
lTRAINER Michael Peterson has taken in two new recruits from the Mullingar sales and has instructions from two owners to find two more.
Meanwhile, Peterson’s Carribean Bill returned from a long spell off through injury to bounce back winning an A2.
WATCH out for Taranis Rex, new to the Nick Colton kennel.
The August ‘09 pup posted a fastest of the session 27.24secs at Monday’s trial session.
Rex is unraced in Ireland and the Droopys Vieri whelp is one to look out for.
ANGIE Kibble’s bitch Tiny Light has delivered another four good-looking pups who start trialling next month.
