Stevenage have had workers clearing the snow from the turnstiles, walkways and stands in preparation for the game against Oxford United on Boxing Day (3pm).
A Stevenage spokesperson said: “We are very hopeful the game will be on.
“The pitch has had the frost covers on for some days and the layer of snow on top is providing extra protection. We test the pitch daily and it’s in fine condition underneath.
“To give the game the best possible chance of being on, we will clear all the pedestrian and parking areas of snow by Friday and leave the covers on until 9am on Boxing Day
