Oxford City Stars will be without the injured Andrew Shurmer when they take on the Bracknell Hornets at the newly-refurbished Oxpens ice rink tomorrow (face-off 6.15).
It will be the first South Division 1 game for the Stars since the work was completed on the rink and the last game of 2010.
Oxford hope to be at full strength for the encounter, despite a flu bug sweeping the team.
Head coach Ken Forshee was left frustrated with last weekend’s results.
Although he was satisfied with his teams performance in the first two periods in Romford, he conceded that they ran out of gas in the final period.
Stars hope to halt their recent losing streak and repeat the winning result secured in the recent game against Bracknell.
Having won in Cardiff, Bracknell will be confident of getting something from their visit.
