Florence Park Com-munity Centre A maintained their hot pace at the top of the Ladies Premier League with a 6-3 victory at home to Butchers Arms.

Clare Bywaters gave Park the lead when she beat Sue Poyser, but the visitors levelled as Maggie Dexter-Naylor defeated Angie Poin-tin.

The home side forged 4-1 ahead with victories from Tina Hamilton, Michelle Ewins and Natalie Creed.

Butchers pulled one game back when Debbie Stevens defeated Jo Gleed, before Park took the pairs 2-1 to maintain their unbeaten record.

Team Berry took the first game at home to Blackbird Bar when Charlette Adams beat Sue Simms.

The visitors hit back to lead 2-1, thanks to successes from Lorraine Singleton and Sue Smith.

It was all Blackbird after that as wins from Sharon Thompson and Christine Thompson plus a 3-0 pairs success gave them a stunning 7-2 triumph.

Prince of Wales recorded their first win of the season in Section 2 when they beat visitors Berinsfield Community Cetre 6-3.

Jaquie Hogg gave Prince an early lead before Sharon Ingram levelled matters by defeating Joy Beesley.

But the hosts stormed 4-1 ahead, thanks to victories from Jill Riordan, Sylvia Cann and Julie Mitchell.

Berinsfield pulled one back when Nina Chewings beat Janet Dyer.

However, a 2-1 helped Prince to break their duck In Men’s Section 3, hosts Blackbird Bar pipped Prince of Wales 5-4.

Blackbird won the first leg when Pete Tarry defeated Dave Presley, the visitors levelling as Mark Bayliss overcame Martin Berry.

The home side took a 3-1 lead with wins from Bob Field and Alan Cox, but Princ efought back with victories from Lee Cox and Gary Cox.

It all came down the pairs, which Blackbird took 2-1.
