Promising Didcot Barramundi brothers Alex and David Murphy were in re-cord-breaking form at the level one meeting in Bath.
Alex, 15, smashed two records with victory in the 50m breaststroke. His time of 30.52 secs in the 50-metre pool was a 16 and under age group record at both southern region and county level.
He also struck gold in the 100m breaststroke (1.07.73) and silver in 50m butterfly (27.37).
Alex’s younger brother, David, 11, took gold in 50m butterfly, breaking the 11 and under southern region long-course record in a time of 32.55.
He also won the 100m butterfly (1.16.89) and came second in the 100m breaststroke (1.31.50).
Didcot clubmate Olly Rip-ley, 12, won gold in the 400m IM (5.51.71) and bronzes in both the 200m backstroke (2.45.16) and 100m breaststroke (1.31.82) Shannon Motha, 11, was second in the 100m freestyle in a time of 1.07.48.
Motha also enjoyed success in the Tigersharks level three Christmas Open at Swindon's 25m pool, winning gold in both the 50m freestyle (31.18) & 200m freestyle (2.28.52).
She also took silver in the 200m IM (2.48.52).
Didcot’s Daniella Springett, 13, captured gold in the 200m IM in a time of 2.42.86.
City of Oxford swimmer Georgina King-Smith, 14, took the gold medal in the 50 metre freestyle at Swindon in a time of 30.85 seconds in the level 3 open.
She added a bronze in the 100m backstroke in 1.16.92.
Clubmates Emma Sherwood,14 also clinched a bronze in 200m breaststrokeclocking 3.16.80 secs and Alex Chung,13 touched third in the100m breaststroke with a time of 1.27.02.
Kidlington & Gosford’s Hannah Clements gained six me-dals – five gold and one bronze – in the Oxford Level 2 meet.
The club’s other medal-winners were Matthew Keys-Lumley (three golds , two silvers and a bronze), Chris Aust (three golds), Ella Cook (one gold), Michael Esnouf (one gold, one silver and on a bronze) and Sam Fowler (one silver and one bronze).
