Boss Chris Wilder said: “Jake came through the operation great, he’s had it pinned, so hopefully we’ll get him back before the six weeks.

“We’ve had good vibes about the way the operation went.

“Obviously, it’s in a dificult position for Jake, but fingers crossed we can get him up and weight-bearing as soon as possible.”
