Chinnor will hold a pitch inspection at midday today to see if tomorrow’s crunch National 3 South West clash with Hartpury College can go ahead.
Head coach Jason Bowers, who will name an unchanged squad, should the match take place, was not optimistic.
“It was frozen solid on Wednesday,” he said.
“I guess it will still be pretty much unplayable.
“The plan is to make a decision at lunchtime.”
Oxford Harlequins may have more chance of facing Bournemouth, whose ground is near the International Airport.
The forecast is better for tomorrow, although it may not rise above freezing today.
Henley Hawks’ home game with in-form Richmond in National 2 South has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Richmond, who are coached by former Oxford University director of rugby Steve Hill, will now visit Dry Leas on February 26.
Henley’s match at Lydney, which was postponed last week, has been rescheduled for February 5.
Wallingford are due to host Marlow in South West 1 East, while Witney are scheduled to visit Olney in a top-of-the-table battle.
“I see very little prospect of play on Saturday,” said Wallingford director of rugby Martin Moran.”
Should they play, Witney are set to be without captain James Lamb.
It is fitting that Banbury’s home game in Midlands 1 West is against second-placed Sutton Coldfield, but few expect it to be on.
