Oxfordshire star Deta Hedman has been drawn against Belgium’s Patricia De Peuter in the BDO Lakeside World Professional Championship at Frimley Green.
Hedman, the No 2 seed behind reigning champion and eight-times winner Trina Gulliver, will open her challenge in the last-eight clash on Sunday, January 2.
Gulliver, who used to play league darts for the Shears, Wantage, faces England’s Wendy Reinstadtler on New Year’s Day.

Hedman, who was crowned sportswomen of the year at last Friday’s Oxfordshire Sports Awards, warms up for the world championships in the Zuiderduin Masters at Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands, from December 10-12.
Seeded No 1, she faces Dutch ace Sharon Prims in the quarter-finals.
