Olly Varney and Mark Thomson return as Oxfordshire look to get back to winning ways at home to Middlesex in Division 1 of Rileys British inter Counties Championship this weekend.

Last time out, Oxon went down to a 19-17 defeat against Derbyshire.

And they have made several changes as they look to put things right against the eighth-placed side.

Varney and Thomson are back for the men’s A side, while Nigel Russell and Paul Cross return to the men’s B line-up.

Janet Weedon stands by for her debut in the ladies B team, where she will be joined by Paulette Guy.

The games will be played at Rileys Snooker Pool and Darts Club and will start midday on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.
