Goals from Hannah Williamson and Amy Reed earned Oxford Hawks 2nd a 2-0 win over Oxford University.
The result lifts Hawks 2nd into second place in Premier 1 of the Trysports 3 Counties League, though still some way behind runaway leaders Wallingford, whose game, like many others, fell victim to the freeze.
Bicester 2nd and Milton Keynes 2A battled out a 2-2 draw in Division 2.
Rachel Hucker turned in a shot by Amy Evans at a short corner to put Bicester in front, but Milton Keynes levelled from a counter-attack.
Bicester moved the ball around well when Sheryl Philpott and Ruth Thomas combined to work the ball into the D, and Thomas struck to score Bicester’s second.
Keeper Jo Underhill made several brilliant saves but couldn’t prevent Milton Keynes from equalising after smart attacking play.
The only Oxfordshires team to play in the South Clubs’ League were both in Division 2.
Bottom-of-the-table Rover Oxford managed to score three times away from home, but went down 6-3 at Tulse Hill & Dulwich.
And Oxford University forced a useful 0-0 draw at Brighton & Hove.
