James Constable was again kept on the bench for tonight's npower League Two game at Chesterfield.
Oxford United's top scorer was named among the subs as manager Chris Wilder went for a 4-1-4-1 formation against the league leaders at the B2net Stadium.
Wilder kept with Ben Futcher at centre back, despite the loan signing's disappointing performances to date, and there was a recall in midfield for Asa Hall.
The U's are hoping to turn the formbook upside down as they have lost their last five games.
Oxford Utd: Clarke; Batt, Futcher, Wright, Kinniburgh; Wotton; Craddock, Heslop, Hall, Clist; Maclean.
Subs: Tonkin, Constable, Potter, Eastwood, Worley, Green, Payne.
