ARDINGTON and Lockinge, from Division 3, caused the biggest upset of the second round of the North Berks Charity Cup with a 7-0 thrashing of Second Division side Marcham, writes PHIL ANNETS.

Brad Richie and Tom Bennett bagged a brace apiece for Ardington, with Chris Hogan, Adam Hogan and Ian Gordon also on target.

Saxton Rovers strolled past fellow Division 1 side Drayton 5-1 with Kyle Allsworth and Paul Churchouse netting two apiece. Mike Beale scored their fifth, while Luke Wheatley replied for Drayton.

A Tom Srawley strike sealed a 2-0 victory for Wootton & Dry Sandford against Second Division side Long Wittenham Athletic.

Steve Madge had fired Wootton ahead.

AFC Wallingford also saw off Division 2 opposition, beating East Hendred 4-2, with Tom Collins (2), Tarome Hemmings and Mitchell Parker on target. Jonathan Hedges and Lee Hedges replied.

An Adam Cowling hat-trick contributed to Benson AFC’s 4-1 win over Benson Lions in the first round of the War Memorial Cup.

James Taylor scored the fourth with Simon Bailey replying.
