Wallingford secured their second South League Regional division win with a 4-0 success at Oxford Hawks 2nd.

A solo effort from close range by Ed Allen and short corner goals from Alfred Carey, Alun Lloyd and Horatio Carey did the trick.

Rover Oxford’s three-game winning streak came to an end with a 1-0 defeat at home to Wycombe 2nd.

The only goal came after they turned the ball over sloppily on half way, and a Wyc-ombe forward ran on to win a stroke that was converted.

In Regional 2, City of Oxford used the tonic from last week’s battling 2-2 draw, after being two goals down, to win 2-1 at Wokingham, moving above Wokingham in the table in the process.

Lloyd Cadman scored with a reverse-stick shot to put them one up. John Alcock added a second from open play.

Wokingham pulled a goal back four minutes from time.

Goals from Matt Oakes (2), Matt Neilson and Ben White were in vain as Rover Oxford 2nd they lost 6-4 at Marlow.

Witney won 6-1 at Maidenhead 2nd in Division 1.

There were two fine strikes from Dan Wallis, Tim Hardy also bagged a double, and other goals came from Tom Allinson and Ben Wells.

Bicester remain unbeaten in Division 2 after beating leaders West Hampstead 3-1.

Goals came from Wayne Dobbins, with a tap-in, Chris Ruff, and Jon Roger, who nutmegged the keeper.
