Abingdon RBL put their recent run of poor form behind them as they came away from Riley C with a 4-2 victory in Premier & Division 1 of the Gentworks Oxford & District Snooker League.
Dave Noake put Abingdon in command, winning the opening frame 74-30 against Andy Toole, aided by a 32 break.
He then took the second frame 50-57 on the black.
Lee Thompson was 43-27 up in frame three and looked to have pulled a frame back for Riley, only for Robbie Adcock to clear up from the green to win the frame 54-43.
Adcock then grabbed a break of 38 in the next frame and went on to win 63-13 to ensure victory for Abingdon.
Ron Reddy restored some pride for Riley, when he beat Kevin Higgs 53-35, 68-30 in the last two frames.
