Drennan GOT Bait dominated the fourth round of the Oxford Winter League, fished by 60 anglers on the Aylesbury Canal from Park Street to above Broughton Lock.
Conditions looked good, with the water back to full level after being 18 inches down last week.
But the influx of cold water from the Tring reservoirs may have a detrimental effect, as the fishing was hard in the sections out of the town, while pike were active in others.
