Oxford Harlequins must use tomorrow’s National 3 South trip to Redingensians as a springboard.
That is the view of director of rugby John Brodley, whose side are seeking their third win in a row after a poor start to the season.
Brodley said: “We are getting to the stage of fielding a more settled side, which is showing in our performances.
“We have lifted ourselves to the bottom of mid-table and if we can win this week, we will be in the pack.
“We need to use that as a springboard to launch the rest of our season.”
Adam Pearson and Huw Jones replace Alex Lyness (shoulder) at wing and Graeme Crapper (unavailable) at full back respectively.
Prop Olly Barlow and centre Ian Murray come in on the bench.
Sam Stoop returns for Chinnor at home to Coney Hill.
The centre has been out since pulling up with a leg injury against Redingensians on September 25.
He comes in for the unavailable Huw Morgan as the only change to the squad that beat Cleve last week.
With leaders Hartpury College having lost for a second time, the top of the table is getting increasingly congested.
Should fourth-placed Chinnor win tomorrow and at Exmouth next week, they will be right in the hunt when they host Hartpury on December 4.
Hooker Andy Dalgleish returns to captain Henley Hawks at home to Southend in National 2 South.
Jim Hadfield replaces Rowan Fuller at prop, while Kenny Sewell comes in for James Gaunt at scrum half.
Flanker Carl Campbell returns to the Witney side as the South West 1 East leaders visit Wimborne.
Campbell replaces Tim Muller, who injured ribs against Maidenhead, while forward Joe Rowles is back.
Props Anthony Marris and Paul Lewis, lock Mike Turner, scrum half Glenn Dearlove and centre Johnny Collett all return for Wallingford’s home game with Olney.
Director of rugby Martim Morgan said: “We have got a difficult next few weeks with Olney on Saturday, who are second, and then a must-win game at Oakmeadians.
“We need to pick up some points before the Christmas break, but we are having better news on the injury front.”
Scrum half Derek Viljoen is back training, while wing Richard Turner and flanker Will Woodward are nearing returns.
