Middleton Cheney came out on top 2-1 at fellow Oxfordshire Senior League Division 1 strugglers Chadlington.
Chris Heritage fired the visitors into a half-time lead.
And Cheney went further ahead when Scott Finch headed home from seven yards a minute after the break.
James O'Brien reduced the arrears in the 70th minute, but Chadlington couldn’t find an equaliser.
Basement boys Long Crendon drew 2-2 at home to Oakley.
Kieran Duke and Matt Hopwood netted for Crendon, with Markie Barrett and Jamie Smith replying.
