Freeland A sent Chipping Norton Town spinning out of the Witney & District FA Fred Ford Cup at the third-round stage with a shock 4-3 win.

Sam Burton (2), Neil Swan and Steve Carvey were on target for the Division 3 underdogs, with Warwick Tompkins, Arrun Witham and Andy Watson replying for the Division 1 outfit.

Dave Cross netted twice as Spartan Rangers beat his former side Witney Royals 4-2.

Matt Sweirgon and Matt Townsend got the others, with Steve Green and Jack Kennedy replying.

Hanborough needed extra time to beat Hailey 4-3.

Richard Rouse (2), John Sutton and Liam Harris saw off Hailey, who hit back through Ryan Pratley, Perry Tinson and Joel King.

Minster Lovell battled back to beat Two Rivers 5-3.

Bartek Lachwicz and Pawel Bronk put Rivers ahead, with Pawel Kulczyk adding a third after the break.

But strikes from Lee Travers (2), Ed Dunn, Courage Nyenya and Nathan Harris completed Minster’s recovery.

Charlbury Town saw off Kingham All Blacks 3-1, Tony Bott, Sean Gilbert and Bruce Claridge scored for the hosts, with Sam Philpott replying.

Ashley Overton hit a treble as AC Finstock saw off unbeaten Combe 5-1 in the Premier Division.

Sam Bowers and Gary McKinnon completed the rout, while Matt Baker replied from the penalty spot.
