South West 1 East
A Wallingford side, depleted through injury and unavailability, lost 22-10 at Swanage & Wareham.
Wallingford, who were missing 15 players, fell behind to a penalty.
But they took the lead against the run of play when wing Ralph Smith latched on to full back Henry Venners’s kick and then fed Venners to score.
Fly half Oli Henderson converted and added a penalty.
Swanage managed a try before the break and two more, plus a conversion, in a second half that saw Wallingford’s Smith and lock Dorian Jenkins sin-binned, the former contentiously.
