Oxford City Stars take on the Bristol Pitbulls tomorrow in the last scheduled South Division 1 home game until late December.
The Oxpens Road venue is set to be closed for refurbishments throughout next month, meaning the re-arrangement of next week’s clash with Invicta Dynamos to the new year.
Alan Green returns, while the remaining injury doubts are all set to face late fitness tests.
Bristol are managed by ex-Star and renowned UK hockey player Richie Hargreaves, while his brother, Mike, another ex-Star, captains the team.
The West Country side won promotion to South Division 1 last season as Division 2 champions, but have found the going tough.
They have won only two of the 14 games they have played this season, with their record also including a 5-1 defeat to Stars.
Bristol are a physical side that have the ability to score against most sides, so Stars will not take them lightly.
