Mark Harper bagged a double as Yarnton upset the odds with a shock 2-1 victory at Premier Division Eynsham in the first round of the President’s Cup.
Eynsham took the lead through Tom Hall, only for Harper to equalise for the Division 1 side.
The winner came in the second half when a long kick from Yarnton keeper Danny Kav-angh was slotted in by Harper for his second.
Josh Carr bagged a brace for Marston Saints who thras-hed Kidlington Old Boys 6-1.
Carr opened the scoring with a rasping shot, before making it 2-0 from Mark Gaul’s cross.
Carr’s low cross found Alex Gordon-Weeks for No 3.
After the break, Tom Payne and Kyle Perry made it 5-0.
Although Chris Pontin pulled one back, John Hudson made it 6-1.
Stonesfield saw off Bletchingdon 4-3 away from home in a penalty shoot-out after the sides were locked at 2-2 after extra-time.
The home side took the lead in the first half with a goal from Richard Wells.
After the break, Mike Phipps equalised before Nick Higgs gave them the lead, only for Ryan Curtin to send the game into extra-time.
With no further goals, the game went to a nerve-jangling shoot-out, with Chris Day saving two penalties as they triumphed 4-3.
Slade Farm United battled to a 2-1 success away to Oxford University Press.
Andrew McMillan gave Slade the lead, firing home after keeper Mark Willoughby parried his initial shot.
OUP levelled through Dave Carter, before Mathew Gardner scored the late winner.
Kennington squeezed to a 3-2 extra-time win against Adderbury Park.
The hosts led through Murat Ulas, but Crook levelled.
Nicky Giles gave Kennington the lead five minutes into extra time from a Colin Williams pass.
Kennington’s Michael Fisher hit a post, before Adderbury’s Mark Essex levelled.
With just a minute left, Giles grabbed the winner with an unstoppable right foot rocket.
Danny Taylor got the winner for Freeland who fought back to beat Mansfield Road 3-2.
Tom McCudden’s opener for Freeland was cancelled out by Luis McGillycuddy 30-yard effort, before Tommy Allen fired Mansfield ahead.
Paul Salter levelled after the break, with a tap-in, and with extra time looming Taylor slotted the winner from Gary Brookes’s pass late on.
Watlington beat North Oxford 2-1 after extra time.
Brian Shields gave North Oxford the lead which they held until the last few minutes when a Ceri Saunders strike ensured extra time.
David Heycock grabbed the winner in the second period of extra time.
Horspath defeated Rover Cowley 5-2, thanks to a double from Simon Cullen.
An own goal, and strikes fromPaul Flack and Simon Evans completed their tally, before Wayne Smith (2) replied for Horspath.
Jay Morris netted the late winner for Garsington, who won 2-1 at Enstone.
James Watkins had earlier cancelled out Morris’s opener, before he completed his tally with the winner eight minutes from time.
