OXFORD United and table-topping Port Vale were locked at 0-0 at half-time in their League Two clash at the Kassam Stadium today.
There was little between the sides in an open and entertaining game.
Ryan Clarke made a couple of good saves before the break, and Lee Collins headed wide following a free-kick for Vale.
Oxford too had their chances, with Asa Hall and Simon Heslop firing in powerful shots, and Valiants keeper Stuart Tomlinson quick off his line to save when Alfie Potter charged through.
Tomlinson also got down to save James Constable's flicked header at a free-kick.
