Dressage rider and trainer Demelza Hawes (pictured above), from Oakley, came back to the UK with a double-winning performance at Addington Manor.
Having recently returned from a ten-month course at l’Ecole Nationale d’Equitation in Frances, Demelza intends on progressing her training on both her own horses and competing for owners.
Hawes rode won both the open novice and elementary categories on her mount, Fabrizo, at Addington.
“This is a great start and one in which I hope to build on,” she said.
“With the training now complete, I can concentrate on competing again and have plans to develop my training services.”
Hawes offers clinics to riders at all levels and takes in horses for training and competing at her base near Thame.
