OXFORD City’s Hannah England completed her warm-up for the Commonwealth Games with a fourth-place finish in the Continental Airlines Fifth Avenue Mile in New York.
England, who will be competing in the 800m and 1500m in Delhi, got off to a flying start, and led for the early part of the race.
She was overhauled by USA athlete Shannon Robury, but crossed the line fourth in a personal best of 4mins 25.29secs.
- DESPITE suffering from a leg injury, Paul Jegou (White Horse Harriers) came second in the Highclere Castle Multi Terrain 10K.

- PAUL Fernandez, of Abingdon Amblers, gained second place in the Sri Chimnoy Self-Transcendence 24-hour track race in London.
He completed 204kms (126 miles) a personal best by 35km.
- HEADINGTON Roadrunners Ross Logan and Graham Day took part in the Berlin Marathon.
Logan clocked 4hrs 46mins 43 secs, while Day crossed the line in 4.53.44.
