Banbury Bulls suffered a fourth straight defeat in going down 31-17 at Birmingham’s Camp Hill.
The hosts led 6-0 thanks to Ian Briggs’s penalty and Simon Edwards’s drop goal.
Banbury replied with a penalty from scrum half Eddie Phillips on 23 minutes.
Camp Hill led 23-3 at half-time thanks to tries from Alex Richmond and Adey Dakes, both converted by Briggs, who added a penalty.
Phillips scored and converted his own try after 58 minutes, but any hopes of a comeback were quelled by Briggs’s penalty and try.
Lock Anthony McClellan grabbed a consolation try for Banbury, converted by wing Mike Smith.
