Unbeaten Abingdon were brought down to earth with a four- goal mauling in their Diviison 1 South & West game at Thatcham.
Thatcham took the lead with a 20-yard shot from Aaron Parfitt into the far corner.
John Mills headed over from Jon Gardner corner for second-placed Abingdon, before Thatcham doubled their score, Brian Lewis reacting quickest after keeper Gareth Tucker parried out a shot.
In the second half, Abingdon were caught on the break when Paul Orgad scored with a delightful lob Lewis tapped home the fourth following a defence error in the 83rd minute to complete a comprehensive win, while sending United back to the drawing board.
