Oxford Harlequins look to have a great chance of bouncing back from their derby defeat when they visit Cleve in National 3 South West tomorrow.
The Bristol side have lost all three of their matches and sit one place off the bottom.
But Quins’ director of rugby John Brodley is not reading too much into this as his side seek to put their Chinnor loss behind them.
Brodley said: “Cleve were close at Old Patesians last week and if you think that they have also played Hartpury College in their first three matches, it is hard to be sure about them.
“We’ll treat them with a lot of respect.
“We won down there last year in what proved a defining game for our defence.
“We are confident, but not over-confident.”
Locks Allan Purchase and Lester Smart, scrum half Nick Stirzaker, centre Ian Murray and full back Mark Forth all come into the Quins squad.
Second row Adam Pearson has school commitments, while centre Tom Speechly is unavailable.
Chinnor head coach Jason Bowers has named an unchanged squad for the visit of Redingensians, who were among those tipped as promotion contenders.
And his players are still buoyant after last week’s derby victory over Quins.
“We have no new injuries, everyone is one piece,” said Bowers.
“Having reflected on last week’s performance, I thought the boys played well.
“We go forward full of confidence having beaten the sides that finished second and third above us last season.
“We look forward to hosting one of the toughest tests of our season.”
