John Brodley is not getting down-hearted by Oxford Harlequins’ indifferent start to the season.
Quins’ director of rugby has seen his side lose both their home games in National 3 South West.
But Brodley pointed out that Quins also lost two of their first three matches in 2009-10 and can still look forward with optimism.
He said: “We know we have individuals like Xavier Andre, Martin Nutt and David Hunter to come back that will strengthen our side.”
Nutt is not playing while he trains for his charity Everest base camp challenge.
Brodley added: “Although we are disappointed, we are still looking forward to a successful season.
“I think we need to add that little bit of spark in our backline to our forward strength which has improved.”
