Oxford Rugby reached round two of the National Colts Cup after an 18-5 victory at Painswick.

George Primett led the way for the Leadbitter-sponsored side with two tries, while Alex Jenks also crossed over and Joey Todd kicked a penalty.

Oxford will now host Longlevens in round two.

That victory came on the back the colts’ 21-7 win at Shipston-on Stour.

Harry Hale, Dominic Coe and Alex Ashby, from long range, scored their tries, with Coe converting one.

The match at Oxford RFC kicks off at 7.30pm, with the under 18s facing St Edward’s School the following week.
