Stephen Hall hit a second-half winner for Sporting Hethe in their 1-0 victory against Heyford United in Division 1.
The visitors bossed the first half, but they were let down by poor finishing.
And they were made to pay when a flick over a defender by David Iglus found Hall who fired in the winner.
Heyford tried to find a leveller, but Hethe’s defence stood firm.
A double from Wes Bone helped Heyford Athletic to a 5-0 romp away at Bishops Itchington Res.
Bone opened the scoring early on, before Keith Adams doubled the lead.
Darren Walden was quickest to react from a set piece for the third goal after half time, with goalkeeper Alex Smart being badly injured and manager Gary Hodgins taking over.
Assistant manager Mark Byrne then scored Heyford’s fourth, with Bone completing his treble with No 5.
In Division 2, Mike Wyatt scored a hat-trick for FC Langford in their 5-0 victory at Kings Sutton Res.
Wyatt opened the scoring with a lob over the keeper after being set up by Luke Phillips.
Wyatt then added his second before completing his treble with a curling shot into the top corner.
Just before the break, it was 4-0 after the keeper failed to deal with a punt forward and Phillips nipped in.
Early in the second half, Phillips wrapped it up with his second, a long-range effort, after being put in by Luke Murphy.
Meanwhile, Kings Sutton eased to a 2-0 win away to Souldern in the preliminary round of the Banbury Charity Cup. The visitors went a goal up through Jack Armstrong.
After the break, a Shaun Sole penalty doubled their tally to seal victory.
