Midlands 1 West
Banbury Bulls captain Sean Bannister suffered a broken leg in their 32-5 defeat at Whitchurch.
The all-action flanker was injured after 30 minutes of a very disappointing game for the visitors.
Play was held up for 20 minutes, while Bannister was taken from the field in an ambulance to hospital.
Whitchurch opened the scoring with a 15th-minute try, but Banbury equalised through wing Andrew Collett after good work from lock Anthony McLellan and flanker Chris Phillips.
That was as good as it got for Bulls, who could not even take advantage when Whitchurch had a man sin-binned in the second half.
They lie second bottom with just one point.
