Cinderford Tn 1 (Smith 34) North Leigh 2 (Taylor 13, Sanders 90+3) Substitute Kieran Sanders struck a dramatic winner three minutes into injury time to secure North Leigh’s first win of the season in Southern League Division 1 South & West.
It came after Alfie Saunders, who had replaced Owen Collins with 15 minutes remaining, picked up a second yellow card to be sent off a minute from time.
But with the game deep into stoppage time, Matty Taylor lashed a rising shot against the bar, and Sanders gathered the rebound and turned two defenders to drill in a low shot past keeper Alex Harris.
Taylor had put Leigh ahead on 13 minutes as he ran onto Andy McCabe’s flicked header to strike a low shot past Harris in the Cinderford goal.
North Leigh were pegged back by a stunning 35-yard strike from full back Matt Smith before the break.
