Malmesbury Victoria 1 (Fisher 90)
Headington Amateurs 6 (Zaja 2, L Cuff 18, Lockhart 24, 70, Jacob 40, B Cuff 79)
Headington Amateurs made it six straight wins to go five points clear at the top of Division 1 West (UHL Sport Hellenic league) with a stunning six-goal show at Malmesbury Victoria.
Ollie Zaja set Amateurs on their way, racing past two defenders before firing low past the advancing Ant Brown.
Luke Cuff turned home Neil Lockhart’s cross to double Headington’s lead, before Lockhart curled home No 3 before the break.
Shaun Jacob deflected home Jamie McCuaig’s shot in the 62nd minute, and Lockhart claimed his second with a low shot past Brown.
Benji Cuff got on to the scoresheet with No 6 after Brown had blocked his first attempt.
Malmesbury pulled one back at the death when Neil Fisher volleyed in from a corner.
Bicester Tn 2 (Sackey 73, Johnson pen 81)
Cheltenham Saracens 0
Bicester Town maintained their 100 per cent home record as they got back to winning ways with victory against Cheltenham Saracens.
After the break, Bicester’s Adam Lovegrove was sent off after receiving his second booking.
But this seemed to galvanize the home side, and Royston Oxendale raced down the left to cross for Lenny Sackey to score from ten yards.
Cheltenham were then reduced to ten men when Jamie Hammond was sent off for a second book able offence.
And Bicester clinched victory when captain Chris Johnson scored a penalty after Dan Green was brought down.
Tytherington Rocks 3 (Potts 28, 85, Hughes 43)
Letcombe 3 (Pendell 72, Brind 90, 90)
Mark Brind’s late double rescued a deserved point for Letcombe at Tytherington Rocks.
When a Letcombe throw in five minutes form time went straight to Jimmy Potts, who raced away to make it 3-1, the game looked up for Letcombe.
But Brind let fly with a shot into the top corner from 20 yards, before driving a low shot under keeper Tom Sheppard for a dramatic equaliser.
Earlier, keeper Steve Vaux, signed on a short-term loan from Wantage Town, had been unable to stop Potts putting Tytherington ahead on the half hour.
Letcombe fell further behind when Marc Hughes smashed a 25-yard shot into the top corner before half-time.
Adam Pendell flicked home a free kick from Jamie Rutter with 20 minutes left to reduced the deficit, before that thrilling finale.
