Northants seamer Jack Brooks will be back on familiar territory when he plays for the President’s XI against newly-crowned MP Sports Cherwell League champions Hors-path at the Recreation Ground in the annual Feast match on Monday (11am).
The former Oxford and Oxfordshire paceman has enjoyed appreciable success in LV County Championship and Twenty20 games in his second season with the Midlands county.
But his roots lie in village cricket from his days at Tiddington, with whom he played regularly at Horspath, including in the Feast match.
Horspath: R Eason (capt), S Hay, J Todd, M Skelton, W Eason, Jehan Mohammed, Mohson Rana, D Creed, B Cook, L Mason, P Jeacock.
President’s XI: C Ricks (capt), D Decaires, A Cook, I Crosby, J Talbot, J Brooks, L List, Ali Morteza, M Kelloway, G Richards, Ayaz Khan.
