Oxford City Stars bid to stay top of the English National League South Division 1 table when they embark on a double-header this weekend.
Victory over Wightlink Raiders last week sent Ken Forshee’s side to the top of the table.
And victory at Bristol Pitbulls today, coupled with a win at home to Cardiff Devils tomorrow, will ensure they stay there.
The Bristol game could be a feisty encounter, with a number of ex-Stars set to line up for the West Country outfit, including owner Richie Hargreaves.
In addition, they will be keen to arrest their poor record of played three, lost three.
Oxford hope to welcome Joe Edwards back from injury and should be at full strength.
The only absentee will be head coach Forshee, who is back in his native Canada.
In his absence, the experienced Gareth Endicott will take on coaching responsibilities.
Stars will bid to emulate their second string on Sunday. They beat Cardiff in their South 2 clash last weekend.
