Wallingford have been hit by three injury blows ahead of tomorrow’s home game with Bletchley in South West 1 East.

Fly half Henry Pooler is out for eight weeks with a broken scaphoid, while wing Lee Lewis will miss six weeks with a broken foot.

The pair were injured during last week’s 41-5 defeat at Witney, while flanker Will Woodward’s thumb problem is worse than previously thought, so he will be missing for a further ten weeks.

Tom Woodward, Chris Jenkins, Steve Grant and Pete Thorns come in.

Director of rugby Martin Moran said: “I think Saturday will be a bit of a scrap.

“They are struggling as well, but we’ll take a narrow win.”

Prop Jamie Burke, lock Charlie Bennett, full back Ed Mitcham and wing Lewis Collins return for Witney’s trip to Buckingham.

Jake Thomas, Phil Gouldie and Alan Richens are all unavailable.

Banbury make four changes for their visit to Whitchurch in Midlands 1 West.

The changes are Nick Clark for Ted Soppett at hooker, Anthony McClellan for Nick Kern at lock, Chris Phillips for Henry Teare at flanker and Dave Taylor at full back for centre Pete Papenfus.

“It is going to be a tough challenge, but we go there with a bit of confidence after last week,” said head coach Grant Holmes, whose side were pipped 22-20 by Bournville.
