Headington completed the double after storming to victory in the Oxford & District League Cup final, sponsored by S&J Timms Cleaning Services and Rub A Dub Dub Laundrette.
The Division 1 champions beat Division 2 title-winners Witney Mills 93-57 under the floodlights at Hanborough.
Witney Mills were celebrating promotion to the top-flight for the first time, whilst Headington celebrated winning the league title after an absence of 30 years.
The top-flight champs got out of the blocks the quickest and surged ahead after five ends.
Even a fightback from Richard Barnett’s rink against Mark Charlett, couldn’t help Mills salvage something, as Headington secured a win across all four rinks.
Craig Nicoll’s four finished as top-scorers with a 28-10 victory, helping Headington to a 38-shot win.
A delighted captain Nick Rae Welsh, commented: “To collect a league and cup double is a great finish to our season.
“We’ve had a lot of success this year at county level and in various competitions, but the league is all about what you achieve as a team and a club.”
