Katie Mullis’s double earned North Leigh a 2-1 victory over Oxford City, despite having to finish with eight players.

North Leigh, who started with only nine, saw Georgea Winstone’s free-kick hit the bar and Mullis strike a post.

Just before the break, City’s Sammy Davenport beat Beth Anderson with a shot from outside the box.

Injury reduced North Leigh to eight players before Lucy McDonough was fouled in the box and Mullis scored the resulting penalty.

Seven minutes from time, Mullis rounded the keeper to slot home the winner.
