Henley Hawks continued their strong start to the season with a 43-18 victory at Newbury.
Hawks, who gave debuts to scrum half Kenny Sewell and lock Howard Parr, led with a first-minute try from centre Danny Wells, converted by full back James Comben.
Newbury replied with a Lloyd Cole penalty and a penalty try, Cole converting.
Henley led 22-13 at half-time thanks to tries from prop Ant Brennan and wing Jack Shaylor plus a Comben conversion, Cole slotting a penalty.
Replacement wing Tommy Haynes and Wells crossed after the break, Combden converting both.
Newbury full back Martin Freeman’s try made it 36-18, but Hawks bagged a sixth try through lock Dave Clements, Comben converting.
