Didcot opened their BB&O Division 2 South campaign with a 17-12 victory at Wallingford 3rd.
New captain Paul Parlett crahsed over from a five-metre penalty move for Didcot’s opening try.
Hooker Sam Lacy burrowed over to make it 10-0, but Wallingford hiot back with a converted try.
Former Didcot player Steve Grant powered over from the base of a scrum to put Wallingford ahead.
But Greg Arthy’s 40-yard solo try and Paul Costello’s conversion sealed the spoils.
