didcot Town earned a replay at the npower Loop Meadow Stadium tomorrow after battling out a draw with Zamaretto Southern League Premier Division rivals Cirencester Town.
Goalkeeper Sam Warrell came to Didcot’s rescue in the first half when he parried an overhit pass by Sean Wood on to a post.
After the break, Didcot’s Michael Bartley slid a shot past keeper Matt Bulman, but also past a post.
Cirencester then hit the Didcot woodwork, and substitute Carl Brown had a shot cleared off the line. Didcot began to gain the upper hand late on, and Mark Draycott had a shot smothered by Bulman. The Railwaymen almost snatched victory in injury time when substitute Michael Hopkins bent his effort round Bulman, but also wide of the target.
