Oxford Irish got life in Division 1 of the Oxfordshire Senior League off to the perfect start with a 3-1 win against Kidlington Old Boys.
Kane Adams gave the visitors a first-half lead, but Daniel Nicholls equalised on 80 minutes.
Minutes later, Thomas Gaughan volleyed Irish ahead.
Late on, Nicholls got a second from Andrew McMahon’s cross.
Slade Farm United beat Broughton & North Newington 4-1.
Jamie Philcox gave Slade the lead, only for Steve Norman to equalise.
Lee Clack restored Slade’s advantage, before Clack’s second, and Nick Harrison sealed it.
Middleton Cheney won 3-2 at Long Crendon.
Scott Finch fired the hosts ahead, only for Chris Walker and Elliot Chezis to give Cheney the lead.
After the break, Cheney’s Alan Buckingham made it 3-1 and although Matt Hopwood got one back it was too late.
