Former Zimbabwe Test batsman Trevor Gripper (pictured) made 72 on his debut for Bicester & North Oxford, who secured an exciting draw against Wokingham in Division 2 West.
Gripper (pictured right) held together the Bicester batting, as they finished on 199-9 in reply to their opponents 211.
Deciding to bat first, Wokingham were hit by an excellent opening burst from Lee Mason, who removed both openers and the dangerous Simon Myles within the first ten overs.
However, a partnership of 88 between Martin Bushell (88) and Thaba (42) against some disciplined bowling from Paul Jeacock (5-55) saw Wokingham reach 211.
Bicester's reply started well as Darryl Woods dispatched the first three balls for boundaries.
Shiv Talsania and Gripper then put on 114 for the second wicket. Gripper went on to score 72 including ten fours and two sixes before he was adjudged lbw.
Bicester required 75 from the last 15 overs, and Steve Lewis looked to have turned the game their way.
However, wickets fell regularly, and Jeacock had to bat out the last three balls to secure the draw.
