ECB 50+ County Championship
Oxfordshire have named a 14-man squad for their semi-final clash against Kent at Cumnor on Sunday (1).
Seamer Keith Arnold, who took five wickets on his debut in the quarter-final, is included alongside returning captain Andrew Wingfield Digby.
Before making his debut, Arnold, who came in for the unavailable Wingfield Digby last time, stressed he did want to deny any regular player a place.
But his form and pedigree will make him almost impossible to leave out.
Manager Bob Boyles said “This is the biggest game Cumnor have ever had – a national semi-final.
“Everyone is quite excited about it really. We think Cumnor is a very good venue for us.”
Oxfordshire: Wingfield Digby (Swinbrook, capt), Caunce (Oxford Downs), Tew, Cunningham, Goffe (all Sandford St Martin), Munsey, M Evans (both Cumnor), A Manger (Horspath), Pond (Cropredy), Willis (Uxbridge), Kelly (Witney Mills), P Evans (Abingdon Vale), Arnold, Griffiths (both Banbury Twenty).
